Don't you just love crap karaoke singers ?.

I'm not keen on those that think they are the next Mariah Carey or Robbie Williams and sound a bit OK. It's the really rubbish ones that make a karaoke night.
Luckily i had my mobile phone with me when this one hit the stage. I only wish i had caught the beginning though, it was even better than the end.

This is a mistery woman murdering a Queen classic. You may also notice that the pub was fairly empty for some reason, funny that, eh ?.

Why did i buy that record ?

If you have been collecting records as long as i have the chances are that there will be the odd one or two amongst of them that are slightly embarrassing and perhaps make you wonder what the hell you were doing buying them in the first place.
I have an alarming amount of singles like this. They are not even funny crap, they are just crap type crap.
Let me introduce you to some of them.
If anyone can explain to me why i bought a single by the acapella group the Kings Singers, warbling a song about the changing of BBC radio Frequencies in the mid 70s i would be much obliged. To make this ever so slightly worse, i also own another by Jock Swan & The Meters singing about the changing of Radio ones Medium Wave frequency from 247 meters to 275 & 285. I've always thought i was a bit odd i suppose, but this just confirms it.

Singing live

It can't be easy standing in front of thousands of people and singing live. Especially if you are dancing at the same time. But it should sound better than i do if play loud music on my headphones and sing along.
This video uses the live audio from Britney Spears' mic, minus the music.

Ouch !. At least it proves the mic is on and she does actually sing live. It just sounds a bit different to the record that's all.
